New Hope Hospital operates on the same scale as a large hospital, with a community-focused mindset.
Through generous donor support, New Hope is home to one of only two CT scanners in the entire country. New Hope provides care to around 200 patients per day, and offers a full range of medical services — from physiotherapy to dental. We also deliver over 1,500 babies a year and provide 24/7 emergency and ambulance service.
However, what we are most proud of is that we provide care to everyone. Whereas other hospitals of this scale turn patients away if they cannot pay, New Hope provides services to anyone who needs medical care regardless of their financial situation. Although the majority of Haitians make less than $2 a day, they are eager to contribute whatever they can. Thanks to your generous support, we take care of the rest. Because we believe everyone deserves the right to life-saving medical care when they need it.

CT Scanner
Thanks to generous donors like you, New Hope Hospital is home to one of only two CT Scanners in the country. The other is located 7-10 hours away in Port-au-Prince. Resources like this are only made possible because of your support!
Training Midwives
With an infant mortality rate of 50 deaths per 1,000 live births, Haiti is in desperate need of better labor and delivery training. This is why New Hope Hospital offers monthly training for midwives. Thanks to your support, we currently work with 200 midwives and deliver more than 1,500 healthy babies a year. With your continued support, our goal is to significantly reduce the infant and maternal mortality rate in Haiti.
Ambulance
In an area where transportation can be difficult and expensive, it is critical for hospitals to provide ambulance service. Because of your generous support, New Hope is able to provide 24/7 ambulance and emergency care — a service that has saved countless lives.
